What Cannot Be Stored in Our Units
For the safety and security of all our customers, certain items are strictly prohibited from being stored in any East River Self Storage unit or compound space. Customers may never store or keep any of the following:

Perishable goods or food items that could spoil or attract pests

Flammable, explosive, or combustible materials (including gasoline, propane, fuel, fireworks, paint, or solvents)

Hazardous or toxic substances such as chemicals, pesticides, or asbestos

Illegal items or substances of any kind

Stolen goods or contraband

Weapons, firearms, or ammunition

Living animals, plants, or other organisms

Any item that emits odor, smoke, or fumes

Uninsured or inoperable vehicles, RVs, or boats (in the compound area)

Storing any of the above items is a violation of our storage agreement and may result in termination of access or legal action.
